Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was truly unforgettable. The rooms were immaculate with exquisite personal touches that reflected Swiss and German attention to detail, although they were on the smaller side. The service was exceptional, from the front desk staff who even took care of our dog during dinners to the attentive waitstaff and informative property tour. The location in Sils Maria, overlooking the stunning Engadin Valley, was breathtaking, though comparisons to other experiences were made. The dining experience offered a hearty buffet with fresh local delicacies, buttermilk biscuits, and more. The facilities were top-notch, enhancing our overall stay.
My stay at the hotel was truly breathtaking, nestled in the awesome Alps with rooms featuring great views and luxurious minimalistic design. The dining experience was fantastic with traditional Swiss specialties and a wide range of continental options. However, the service was a bit inconsistent, possibly due to inexperience, and the facilities were not ideal.
The hotel offers great rooms with minimalistic design but luxurious and comfy feel, although not at the level of some Relais et Chateaux we have tried before. The Arven wood furnishing gives a pleasant local touch with a refreshing scent. The service is nothing short of exceptional, from the attentive staff to the thoughtful gestures like babysitting our dog during dinners. The location is well-thought-out, allowing guests to immerse in the alpine surroundings in a serene setting away from the bustling areas. The dining experience is extensive, featuring fresh local ingredients and Swiss culinary expertise. The facilities are top-notch, enhancing the overall stay.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms, though not air-conditioned, were cozy and well-equipped, complete with binoculars for some balcony 'hiking' and a lovely fireplace. Having two balconies, one in the bedroom and one in the lounge room, added to the charm. The service was exceptional with friendly staff, including the sommelier who also managed the restaurant and even helped babysit our dog during dinners. The location, nestled outside Ftan village on a small hill, offered serene views from the timber-lined rooms. Dining was a gastronomic delight, especially the hearty buffet that pleased both European and American palates. The facilities were top-notch, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel offers a cozy stay with binoculars in the rooms for balcony relaxation, a fireplace, and a mixed service experience. The location provides picturesque views, but dining might not meet high expectations.
